(In-town): A test center is considered local if it is within 25 km of your pickup address. Beyond that, extra charges apply.
It is Ministry of Transportation (MTO) strict policy that online courses must be fully completed before starting in-vehicle training.
All regular courses must be completed within 1 year from registration to be certified.
Road test fees are set by DriveTest Ontario and usually paid at the time of obtaining a G1 license.
If we request the fee for booking your road test, it means your test wasn’t prepaid. The fee is submitted directly to the DriveTest center.
Car rental fees are separate and payable to AMN Driving School. This includes the instructor’s time and use of our certified vehicle. Prices vary depending on the test center location and travel time.
For local road tests, if DriveTest cancels due to weather or system failure after arrival, 75% of the rental fee is charged.
If your road test at a local DriveTest center is delayed by more than 3 hours from the time of arrival, an additional fee of $20 per hour will apply to cover the instructor’s extended time. This fee must be paid directly to the instructor on the spot.
The course fee is non-refundable once you’ve logged into the online course.
Car rental for road tests depends on instructor availability.
A vehicle will only be provided if an instructor is available to accompany you.
We currently provide driving lessons in Toronto, Scarborough, some parts of North York and East York.
Please confirm your pickup address with us before registration to ensure we can schedule your driving lessons.
